More Joyous's main challenger, Whobegotyou, has been ruled out of the Doncaster Mile by trainer Mark Kavanagh because of a curbed hock. It was another blow to Kavanagh, who had already lost Shocking for the autumn, but he indicated Whobegotyou would return to chase the Cox Plate in the spring. "Unfortunately Whobegotyou is lame, and is out until the spring carnival," Kavanagh said. "... He has a mild strained ligament above a hock, and we will be sending him to the paddock and give him some time to be right for the spring carnival." Whobegotyou just failed to run down More Joyous in the Futurity Stakes before winning the Blamey Stakes earlier this month. His withdrawal meant More Joyous shortened to $2.30 favourite for the Doncaster. Coolmore winner Aloha is second pick at $8.So You Think on showDual Cox Plate winner So You Think was part of a team of horses trainer Aidan O'Brien took to the Curragh for a gallop on the opening day of the Irish flat season on Sunday. O'Brien traditionally takes his major players to Curragh on that day and So You Think finished fourth of five stablemates behind Jackaroo in his gallop over a mile. "So You Think has settled in well. We didn't ask any questions today but we're happy with him," O'Brien told the Racing Post.Jimmy Choux derby boundNew Zealand Derby winner Jimmy Choux will target the AJC Australian Derby rather than the Doncaster, as trainer John Bary believes the three-year-old is better placed against his own age. Jimmy Choux will have his first Australian run in Saturday's Rosehill Guineas, and was to take on all comers in the Doncaster until a change of heart from Bary and connections. "We have been monitoring the races over here, and the Doncaster looks a very tough race this year," Bary said. "I have had a good look at the three-year-olds, and would be confident he can match it with them. He is proven at the derby trip ... "Keith Nolan Classic movedAustralian Turf Club has kept Saturday's Rosehill Guineas meeting as a nine-race card, replacing a benchmark 90 race with the group 3 Keith Nolan Classic, which was postponed at Kembla Grange on Sunday. The Nolan will be run at 1800 metres, and ATC chief executive Darren Pearce is pleased the group 3 would not be lost as it provides a pathway to the Vinery Stakes a week later and the 100th AJC Australian Oaks on April 16.Pearce indicated that Illawarra Turf Club members would be offered reciprocal membership on Saturday.
